CORTEN
- Also known as 'weathering steel', Corten is designed to rust and age. It forms a layer called Patina which protects the steel from rusting any further
- Our Corten pieces will start to rust over time, they are not pre-rusted. If you want them to age and rust quickly, you can place them outside and spray them with white vinegar to speed up the process
- Our standard Corten artwork is cut from 3mm gauge steel, but can be cut up to 16mm for custom designs
MILD STEEL
- Mild steel is a cheaper option than Corten steel
- Ideal for painting - get creative with multiple colours unline powder coating which is one colour only
- Place unpainted in the man cave and it will still last years
